Philips operated multiple Western European factories — Mullard (UK), Valvo (Germany), Amperex (Netherlands and US-imported), MBLE (Belgium) — sharing tooling. Famous for ECC83/12AX7, EL34, EL84, and the long-plate "Foreign Mullard" 12AX7 family.
