EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The 6N23P is the Soviet equivalent of the 6922/E88CC, a premium frame-grid dual triode with high transconductance and a 6DJ8-compatible pinout. Soviet military-grade examples (marked with an OTK stamp and often a rocket or military factory logo) are tightly selected and well-built, offering performance competitive with European E88CC production at a fraction of the price. The Voskhod (Kaluga) and Reflektor (Saratov) factories are the primary sources, with early 1970s silver-shield Voskhod examples being particularly prized. It is a direct drop-in replacement for 6DJ8/6922/E88CC in virtually all circuits.
